Kulula
Kulula, a South African airline, is a subsidiary of Comair Limited and began operations in 2001. The name is the isiZulu word for ‘easily’. Though the airline concentrates on the South African domestic market it also has services that reach areas such as Namibia, Mauritius, Zimbabwe and Zambia. Kulula dominates the low-cost flight market in South Africa and has 8 Boeing 737-800s, which is a big move up from their humble beginnings in 2001.
Kulula’s destinations
Kulula mainly concentrates on offering customers flights to the major domestic areas such as Cape Town, Johannesburg (Lanseria and O.R Thambo airports), Durban, and Port Elizabeth. They have also extended their reach to markets such as Namibia, Zimbabwe, Zambia and Mauritius, though these flights are only available from O.R Thambo and not from the other airports.

Kulula’s base is in O.R Tambo International Airport and their focus cities are Cape Town International Airport, Durban International Airport (now known as King Shaka International Airport), Port Elizabeth International Airport, George Airport, and Lanseria Airport.
