A company that specialises in injection moulding for products such as plastic bolts and plastic fasteners is now under new ownership.
TallyHo Plastics has been taken over by another company that also specialises in injection moulding- AonVoy Industries Inc.
Although normal work such as producing plastic bolts is still being carried out at TallyHo Plastics’ main headquarters in S.Bolton Street in Jacksonville, the company began operating under its new management on Monday 16 January.
Speaking to local newspaper The Jacksonville Progress about this new acquisition, President of AonVoy, Raymond Grubbs admits he is looking forward to working with the injection moulding specialist.
Speaking to Tim Monzingo from the paper, he said: “It is our goal to continue to build a strong and more viable company.
“We are just excited about the opportunity to continue the TallyHo legacy in some way.”
During this interview, the paper claims Mr Grubbs admitted that one of the main reasons his company had decided to buy TallyHo was to enable it to use the larger workspace area. He now hopes that by having more available space, this will in turn lead to an increase in business and in profits.
As both companies specialise in the same industry, the plan now is for both to work alongside each other to produce and develop plastic products.
The business will also be taking on some more staff over the next few months as it will try to establish itself more on an international platform to the rest of the global markets. It also already has set up business plans with a number of US based companies such as the project to create a new four wheeled cart.
Mr Grubbs added: “ It’s our goal..to bring a lot of new business and new jobs to the city.”
