A normal fill power would be 575, but 650 or higher is a better buy.

Down isn’t the only fill for comforters. Cotton bating also offers a quality fill. The cotton fill will be heavier than the down, but the amount of heat retention is the same. Comforters made with a cotton fill are also less expensive than comforters made with down fillers.
